With Let's Connect, we want to build on the success of the Ensemble Stars meeting from 2019 while also trying something new. The current collaboration with Project Sekai, which we decided on at the time, provided the perfect opportunity: to reunite familiar faces, bring in new people, and see if this special feeling of gathering could be further developed on a slightly larger scale.

For Cosplay no Kizuna, Let's Connect is the first real test run. Can a fan meetup of this size work with its own program, small games, and a stronger connection to the respective fandom? And can we still maintain the relaxed atmosphere that made the 2019 fan-event so special ?

The name Let's Connect perfectly describes its purpose: to get people talking to each other, make new contacts, and connect through a shared fandom. The program isn't just meant to keep people busy, but to continually create small reasons to do things together, making it easier to connect with one another.

This is what you can expect

01

Matsuri

We have prepared two different Matsuri games for Saturday. These include Kingyou Sukui (fishing for rubber fish with paper nets) and duck fishing. Depending on your score, you can win stickers or postcards.

02

Stamp Missions

Each Stamp Card has 4 simple tasks. Once you’ve completed one, get a stamp from Nica. As soon as you’ve completed a full Stamp Card, you’ll receive a goodie bag and can start a second Stamp Card to earn another goodie bag.

03

PowerPoint Karaoke

In PowerPoint Karaoke, you’ll be given a presentation you’ve never seen before and have to present it completely on the spot. The goal is to act as if you created the presentation yourself and desperately need to get a good grade – so improvise, think fast, and play off any confusion! – There’s no actual grade and no wrong way to do it. It’s all just for fun and for anyone who loves improvising.

The presentations are themed and illustrated around Project Sekai (or Vocaloid music videos).

Taking part will be generously rewarded with 2 original e-Picks, a “Stage Fright” Event Title, and plenty of Wish Jewels. You can also participate in teams!

04

Barbecue around the campfire

Friday evening will be spent around a large campfire after everyone arrives. Sitting together, talking, lighting sparklers, and enjoying a barbecue and dinner together.

05

Creative Corner

Craft your favorite character out of paper, make a paper star, or create a friendship bracelet.

We'll provide the materials, and you can craft – whether as part of a Stamp Mission or simply for some relaxation

06

Bubble Tea

We bring everything you need to make your own bubble tea. We'll brew the tea in advance (green and black), and we'll also have syrups, popping boba, straws, and cups!
